hi all, does anyone know if Kia could possibly roll out an update to enable V2L on all the EV3 models? I read somewhere that all the models have the capability, but it's only enabled on the higher spec versions.

Please note that you have to use either the genuine Hyundai/Kia V2l adapter or, if using an aftermarket option, it must be designed to be used with Hyundai or Kia EVs.
There are differences between brands.
We had a 16 hour power cut last year and I used the V2l from the EV6 to power a freezer, 2 refrigerators and tv, as well as air fryer and coffee machine. Several extension cords used. I don’t have the V2l adapter so had to use an extension lead plugged into the rear outlet. This requires the car to be powered on (in utility mode) and unlocked.
I have since purchased an aftermarket V2l cable which can be plugged into the charge port just like the Kia V2l adapter. This means you can use V2l with the car turned off and locked.
This would be a great option for powering a camp site.
Thanks. So, it probably is possible to roll this out here in Ireland. Only the top version (GT-Line) has it and the Earth 3 and Earth 2 versions don't, including the 3 pin hotpoint. I had both on my previous 2022 Niro EV, so was disappointed to find out it wasn't standard on all EV3s
