Thanks. Wife is called Desirae
Had the car over 24 hours now and absolutely love the thing!
Bad pic but at least it is on the drive!
No, good pic, as it shows it from an angle most pics don't. It looks good in black and I was tempted, but I currenly have a black car and boy does it get hot inside when left in the sun.Thanks. Wife is called Desirae

The same here i ordered my EV6 Plus RWD Yacht Blue the 4th of March 2022, promised that I would drive it in latest August 2022.Ordered EV6 PLUS RWD Gravity blue back in April and still no production or delivery date. They tells me most likely in Q1 2023.
Reading here I guess I can expect that or even later.
Asked before I ordered for the delivery time since I want to try to time our current lease with this one. Told me 6 months, so I ordered the day after.
Got email almost immediately after that I could expect delivery in Q1 2023..![]()
Same here. I asked after 4 week pasted whether the car already get into the production or not but they delayed it another 4 weeks. The same here i ordered my EV6 Plus RWD Yacht Blue the 4th of March 2022, promised that I would drive it in latest August 2022.
But until now total radio silence from the dealer, if I ask than I just get the answer "we do not know" and a month ago I received that it is moved to the 2023 model range but nobody can tell me a delivery date.
Frustrated that nobody can get a straight answer about delivery, if I had known this I would have purchased a Mustang Mach E.![]()
Hi AG,Same here. I asked after 4 week pasted whether the car already get into the production or not but they delayed it another 4 weeks.
Dealer told me to come and check after 4 week. I have no faith that it will get into the production soon. If I go after 4 weeks, they will tell me to come after another 4 weeks.
I hope we don't lose 70k incentive, if it goes beyond 2023....
My dealer also told me that you will receive a 2023 model year for the same money as your previous quote (if I can receive the car).Hi AG,
I had today another conversation with my dealer, but does not get any smarter from them. The answer is still that my car with several others moved to the 2023 series and no delivery time is stated.
I start to think that KIA in general is serving the markets where they have less demands or better profits overall. There is no obligation to server steady KIA customers at all, they have a monopoly situation, and most likely nobody will cancel the orders due that the prices went up significant the last months.
Probably we will not lose the whole 70k, but 20k most likely due that the incentives will as planned go down to max. 50k. So never the less it will cost the customer money!
That's why I had the discussion with my dealer that if the car will be delivered they should take the extra cost, or at least half of it (this is my 8th KIA and the 5th for my wife from them) otherwise the next will not be a KIA again. No answer yet but he promised to think about it and come back to me.
Lets hope for the best.
PS. Try to get all or a part of the 20K back from the dealer, no you have and yes you can get!
If you have an official order confirmation there will be the price of your vehicle on it, so they can never demand an extra cost for delivering the vehicle it is an official contract. So no worries about that.My dealer also told me that you will receive a 2023 model year for the same money as your previous quote (if I can receive the car).
But it was before 1 of July. I am afraid to ask again if they will apply the new price or not![]()
I will be trading in my car and the dealer says they won't value it until I sign off on the financing for the car - which according to them they will only do once the car is in the country.I ordered a Kia Niro EV from main Kia dealer 13th May, told there was about 250 ready for sale and to be shipped over, advised would be end of July. Then got told end August. Now just been told first week in October. Delays due to a component (yet it was meant to be ready to ship) and delivery delays due to covid 🤷🏻♀️
I'm part exchanging my current vehicle and they've told me due to the delay they'll need to revalue it, surely that can't be right as we've agreed and signed a deal with a price for my current vehicle?
Get a price from a few of the we buy any car types now, so you're not loosing value of the car caused by delays?I will be trading in my car and the dealer says they won't value it until I sign off on the financing for the car - which according to them they will only do once the car is in the country.
I think those companies generally only guarantee their quotes for 14 days.Get a price from a few of the we buy any car types now, so you're not loosing value of the car caused by delays?
I'm hoping this will still be the case when I part exchange and people will want my diesel car.I think those companies generally only guarantee their quotes for 14 days.
Last two occasions I did an online quote for my current vehicle it had gone up £500 in 6 months with 8000 more miles so a delay might not be terrible news!
